Hi, I’m Amanda Lacy, inventor, and founder of Bijou Build. I live in a beautiful seaside village in Maine with my 3 children, 1 leopard gecko, 5 fish, 4 chickens and 1 husband.

I came up with the idea for Bijou when I was looking for an outdoor play structure for my house during the Covid-19 pandemic. I saw a lot of old, unused structures that took over people’s yards and I knew I wanted something better.

With over 10 years of experience in product development for major global brands, I knew I could make something my kids would play with and that I wanted to see in my yard. We are working to make Bijou the future of play. No single use play structures and no single way to play.

With 3 kids, I’m always looking for ways to simplify my life and as the Lupine Lady says, make the world a more beautiful place. Join us on this mission. We can’t wait to see how you and your family Bijou.
