FAQ'S

Can I use the solar panel and lights without a Mainstay?

Yes. While this solar lighting kit was originally designed for the Mainstay playset, it’s fully compatible with any outdoor setup. Use it to illuminate patios or anywhere else you’d like a soft, solar-powered glow.

How do the solar-powered fairy lights work?

The solar panel collects sunlight during the day and automatically powers the LED strands once it gets dark. There’s no need to switch anything on; the system runs entirely on solar energy, turning on and off with the sun.

How long do the lights stay on at night?

After a full day of charging, the lights typically run for 8-10 hours. Performance can vary based on sunlight exposure and seasonal daylight, so positioning your solar panel in a sunny spot ensures the brightest and longest-lasting illumination.

Are the solar panels weatherproof?

Yes. Both the solar panel and LED strands are made from weather-resistant materials built to handle outdoor conditions year-round. They’re perfect as exterior solar fairy lights on playsets, gardens, or fences.

Do I need to replace the batteries in the solar panel?

Each solar unit includes a rechargeable battery that stores energy from sunlight. Over time (typically after a few seasons), you can easily replace the internal battery to keep your solar power LED system running efficiently.
