Mainstay Wood is available to purchase as an add-on. Bijou uses standard construction grade pressure treated 2×4s available at your local hardware store. Bijou doesn't require ANY special cuts and uses standard length wood at 10ft, so you can grab it right off the shelf.

My 10 year old and 4 year old have been playing or lounging outside in their mainstay tent any moment available. It's magical day and night.
We were surprised that despite all the photos of it set up in grass the directions said not to. Weird marketing in my opinion.
Putting together was not easy. With our space being small we had to get creative and pilot holes are a must. All in all it was roughly 3 hours, physically a little demanding and about as complicated as your average IKEA build.

Love the Bijou! So does my kid, the neighbor kids, and our dog (who loves to hop up into the hammock!). One of the LED light strands broke during assembly, and Bijou sent me a new unit as soon as they came back in stock—great customer service. Love it!!
