What is it?
Mainstay Wood is available to purchase as an add-on. Bijou uses standard construction grade pressure treated 2×4s available at your local hardware store. Bijou doesn't require ANY special cuts and uses standard length wood at 10ft, so you can grab it right off the shelf.

We were searching for the best fit Playset for our 3/6 year old kids. Most playsets tend to be out grown once your kids have reached a certain age, BUT not the bijou. Our kids have napped in it, read in it, and don’t some simple art projects within the tents. I can easily see this as something they’ll enjoy to be in for years even into their teens. Even as adults, we both love sitting in it and just watching them play.
Another amazing part of this set is how easy it can be fixed. It’s just a bunch of 2x4s that can easily be replaced or if you’ve finally decided it’s time and the kids are no longer kids anymore it doesn’t have to sit and rot in the backyard.
Building this did take time, and I would say be sure the ground you have it in is roughly flat. My wife and I were able to set up 2 tents in 1 day and the rope bridge and swing set in half a day, follow the steps and you’ll be fine.

We’ve had the playset for about a month now. We got the mainstay with the swing set and we switched out one swing for a saucer. Our kids LOVE it. The swings get a ton of use and the hammocks inside of the mainstay are also utilized a lot. Our kids are excited to bring their friends on it and we’ve loved it so far! The mainstay took about two hours to set up and I’d say the swingset took about the same. Which is a great amount of time for a playground. Would recommend!!

We ordered the mainstay and swing set for our kids. They love it. It was put together in a couple hours with the helpful instructional videos and manual. We specifically wanted something made mostly from wood and not products that would easily rust since we live in Hawaii. The challenging part was attaching the swing set to the mainstay which required another individual who is taller than 6ft. A marking placement on the mainstay would have been helpful. The only bummer thing we have experienced is the solar lights attached to the mainstay. We have had it set up for a couple of weeks now, and all of a sudden the lights aren’t working. We have had enough sunlight throughout the day, but it doesn’t seem to be the issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Essential add on!!! We love the mainstay, but if your kids love to swing like mine do, this add on is a no brainer.

Spent over 2000 they charge 20% restocking fee and won’t let me use my own label to save $. Multiple parts broke during assembly. Customer service doesn’t respond-I’m not sure if Chinese owned or they outsource all to China but really bad experience

Our whole family (mom, dad, 5 and 1 year old) loves our Mainstay, A-frame arm and round swing. Only gave a 4 star rating because it was more difficult to assemble than anticipated, even with the assembly video.

My daughter has some physical challenges that make independent play hard. This swingset and the ability for her to sit comfortably and safely to swing has made very day fun for her. She loves to go out and swing!
