Can adults use the Bijou Haven and outdoor living sets?
Yes. Every Bijou product is rated for ages 3 to 103 and has a 250-lb weight capacity. The Haven, the Sway Swing, and the Sky Hover Swing are all sized and rated for adult use. Many customers buy the Nest or Moment of Zen primarily for themselves, before having kids. See more about how adults use Bijou.
Does the Bijou Haven need to be permanently installed?
No. The Haven sets up without stakes on hard surfaces like decks or patios and with standard U-stakes on grass or soil. No concrete, no drilling. It assembles in under an hour and breaks down for storage or transport. The Bijou Roller makes it easier to move the collapsed structure across a yard or patio.
What is the difference between the Bijou Haven, Bijou Nest, and Moment of Zen?
The Haven is the base structure alone. The Nest bundles the Haven with the Sky Hover Swing and pillows.
The Moment of Zen bundles the Haven with the Sway Swing, Expander Bar, Hanging Pocket, Rest Beverage Holder, and Bloom Planter Bags. All three use the same Haven frame. If you want to choose your own swing or accessories instead, use the Bundle Builder.
Can I add a swing to the Bijou Haven later?
Yes. The Haven is compatible with the Sky Hover Swing, the Sway Swing, and the Kubix Swing as single-point attachments. You can start with the Haven alone and add swings separately. All accessories are available individually on the accessories page.
Does the Haven include lighting?
The Haven includes a built-in solar-powered LED system on the top hub. It charges during the day and lights the structure in the evening. No wiring, no batteries. For additional interior lighting, the Solar Panel and LED Spinner are compatible add-ons.
Can the Haven connect to the Mainstay play structure?
Yes. The Haven connects to a Mainstay via the Rambler Rope Bridge once you're ready to expand into active play. This is how most families grow a Haven-first setup into a full climbing-and-play structure over time. See the full system at The Bijou Difference.
Is the Bijou Haven good for Airbnb rentals or rental properties?
