FAQS

All accessories are designed around the Mainstay frame and its hardware. Most also work with the Bijou Haven as single-point hang attachments, including the Sway Swing, Sky Hover Swing, Cocoon Swing, and Bijou Kubix Swing. The Rambler Rope Bridge connects two Mainstays or anchors independently. If you have a specific compatibility question, the FAQ page has full details, or contact us at Customer@BijouBuild.com.

The Sway Swing and the Rambler Rope Bridge are the two most common first additions. The Sway hangs as a single-point attachment directly from the Mainstay top hub without needing the Swing Arm Adaptor. The Rope Bridge is the most-requested add-on for families who have two Mainstays to connect, or a tree in the yard large enough to anchor one end.

Not for all swings. The Sway Swing, Sky Hover Swing, Cocoon Swing, and Bijou Kubix Swing all hang as single-point attachments directly from the Mainstay top hub. The Bijou Swing Arm Adaptor is needed if you want to run a traditional two-point swing like the Baby Swing or the Adventure Skate Swing, or if you want to run two swings at once.

Yes. Every accessory ships with all hardware needed for attachment and can be added to your Mainstay at any point. There's no required order. Start with the base structure, then add the Clamber Panel, Next Level Platform, or Rambler Rope Bridge at birthdays or holidays. The hardware is the same across the system and nothing needs to be replaced. See how the system works

Most do. The Sway Swing, Sky Hover Swing, Clamber Panel, Next Level Platform, and Rambler Rope Bridge are all rated to 250 lbs and sized for adult use. The Bijou Kubix Swing and Cocoon Swing work for adults as well. See more about how adults use Bijou

The Bijou Roller is a wheeled transport attachment for the collapsed Mainstay. When you fold the structure down for storage, moving it across a yard or patio is awkward at around 150 lbs fully loaded with wood. The Roller attaches to the folded frame so one person can wheel it rather than carry it.
