• Set up on a flat, stable surface: For the safest experience, always install the Mainstay and accompanying bridge on a level, stable surface. Avoid setting up on sloped or uneven ground, which can compromise balance and safety. You can install your Rambler Rope Bridge and accompanying Mainstay on top of safe ground, like sand, rubber mulch, or woodchips, to give your kids a softer landing. 
• Regularly check ropes and fastenings: Give the bridge a quick visual check before playtime. Inspect the ropes, knots, and anchor points to ensure everything is secure and free from fraying or loosening. A quick once-over helps catch normal wear and tear early, so your child can play safely.

How Much Space Do I Need to Set Up the Rambler Rope Bridge?

The Rambler Rope Bridge features an 8-foot crossing area, plus 3 feet on each end to secure it to your Bijou Mainstays. We recommend setting up your Rambler Bridge where you can fit two Mainstays 10 feet apart. We recommend at least 3 feet of clearance on each side of the bridge to ensure safe play. This buffer zone allows kids to balance, swing, and explore without bumping into walls, furniture, or other obstacles.

How Do I Clean and Maintain the Rambler Rope Bridge?

Keeping the Rambler clean is easy and helps extend its lifespan. For outdoor use, simply wipe down the rope with a damp cloth and mild soap as needed, especially after heavy play or wet weather. A quick vacuum or dusting will keep it fresh and tidy for indoor use.

To maintain and keep your rope bridge safe, visually inspect the ropes for fraying and confirm that all knots and fastenings are secure before each play session.
